THE PARSONS GREEN FOOTBALL CLUB CONSTITUTION
1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 The primary objective of this football club is for footballers to enjoy the game of football at grass roots level, try and be successful as possible and progress to the next level.
2. MEMBERS
2.1 The Chairman & Secretary of the Parson's Green Football Club is Bill Sheen.
2.2 The Treasurer of the Parson's Green Football Club is Bill Sheen.
3. FIXTURES
3.1 League matches will kick off at 10.30am. Cup matches will kick off at 10.00am.
3.2 All players should obtain a fixture list for the forthcoming season prior to the first match being played. Anychanges to the fixture list will result in it being updated and distributed to the team as andwhen theyoccur.
3.3 If any player has planned a holiday or other engagement on any of the match dates he must inform the Chairman/Manager at least 2 weeks prior to the date.
3.4 All players must contact the Chairman/Manager to confirm their availability and the venue on the Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday before each match. If contact is not made on these days it will be assumed that the player is notavailable. The contact numberis 07956 694 685. (if there is no answer please leave a message stating your availability & where you intend to meet if there are no changes to the venues)
3.5 All players must meet at the fixture venue or another designated location agreed with the Manager at the time agreed with him. For all fixtures players will be required to be at the venue at least 45 minutes prior to kick off. Failure to meet at the correct timecould result in punishment being served. Frequency of lateness,time of arrival in relation to the stated time and extenuating circumstances will be taken into account whendeciding punishment.
4. DISCIPLINE
4.1 Each player will pay any LFA fines incurred by him during the season. Suspensions incurred will be adhered toby the offending player and may incur an additional Club fine depending on the severity of the offence. Any Club member found to be acting continually in an unsporting or aggressive manner towards opposing players or officials will be dealt with by a fine from the Club and eventual expulsion from theClub unless offendingbehaviour ceases.
4.2 All players must adhere to the referee’s decisions, and “play to the whistle”.
4.3 Currently a yellow card carries a £8.00 fine from the LFA. A “straight” red card carries a £28.00 fine and a30-day suspension imposed by the LFA. Note that suspensions imposed by the LFAalso count towards other competitions and other leagues the offending player is registered to.
