My experience at the event:

It's always strange to play your reserve team in the same league.
But this year, due to the lack of organisation in the sport's governing body, the reserve league was scrapped and they ended up playing against us.

We played them already few weeks ago, winning 4-1 in a chilly winter evening.

This time, stll with a restricted number of players (too many injuries!) we run riot and we demolished them.
The final score was 10-0, and I scored 2 goals (which brings my league's tally to 8, the best result in years) and provided 2 more assists. I also missed a glorious chance in the first minutes but thanks to the good amount of goals scored I didn't feel too bad about it! 

The rest of the games left in the tournament will give us a bigger challenge, but it was good morale building score for a team like ours who too many times lost games by close margins...  Back to sports
