My experience at the event:

After running only the week before on the North side of the mountain by Glenburn Lodge in a trail race, this time it was time to run on the road by the South side.

Even with the crazy traffic by Kloofzicht Lodge, the departure site, I always enjoyed this race (it's my third time running it). Sure, it took 30 minutes to park, but the course of the 10km race was as usually nicely organized and the arrival by the lake was always spectacular (even I ended up running in the mist).
My time was slightly above the 2011 course, but with football happening few hours later I didn't want to push crazy.

Lindsey and her mum completed the 5km, while Lindsey's dad, Jill and Kirsten finished the 10km in around 1.10. Andy instead opted to finish his first half marathon, and he completed it just above the 2 hours mark.
