My experience at the event:

If the race completed 2 weeks earlier, with our blood still pumping the extra oxygen in our bodies, was great, this one was one of the hardest trail races I've done so far. I did the race overweight and tired after weeks of travelling, working and driving, so I decided to run it with my cousin Davide. The course was a killer: a lot of technical sections down and uphill along the forest by the river Olona. Little chance to pass and plenty of chances to fall!

Like most of the races in the area, there was no final classification unless you took part in the major "golden shoe" series, which takes over the whole summer!  But Davide and I finished with a good time, in the front group, while Debbie and Lindsey finished the shorter race.
