My experience at the event:

Well, it has been a great week. After winning in the Vets Cup Final last wednesday, I freelanced for Panorama 3rds (the perks of being part of a club with multiple senior teams), due to the fact that I wasn't cup tied with my own team (who got eliminated while I was on holiday in Italy).

The game was hard, long and interrupted twice by a thunderstorm. We scored first and got close multiple times, but MES found the equalizer with their only shot of the whole game. The extratime under rain and darkness (after starting the game under an african sun!) felt longer than usual, probably because in between the two extra times we had to find cover to avoid the lightining.

Back on the pitch the result didn't change so it was penalty time. I took mine twice. The first time the keeper saved it (after walking forward from his line, so the referee had to make me repeat it) and the second time I scored. At the end we won 5-4, which means another final! Good week to be a Panorama player...  Back to sports
