My experience at the event:

Revenge time! After failing miserably the edition before in the same competition (I came out of the water dead last and even if I managed to finish, I wasn't happy with any of my sections), this time my race was so much better. 
In the swimming part, I improved almost 10 minutes compared to last year, but it was the cycling part where I surprised myself, finishing 20km in 39 minutes and 3rd overall for the section. The running was completed on one leg (I injured my calf muscle) in 26:33 which was enough to guarantee me a decent 11th place.

Andy, on his first triathlon, did much better than me compared with my first triathlon's results. His swimming was very good (2 miuntes quicker than me today), he struggled in the cycling (which I completed about 15 minutes faster) and he completed the 5km with the 13th overall results, finishing in 23rd position.

It was overall a great day and every completed triathlon is always an achievement to celebrate!
