My experience at the event:

Entering Lindsey to such a hard and technical race to get her ready for the MTB challenge in November wasn't a great idea. On a cold saturday morning we started an adventure over 25km of very technical (single track, U-turns, rocks, rivers to cross) race that lasted almost 3 and a half hours! 

But Lindsey, forgetting her pain and discomfort, managed to finish it all to collect the medal. I raced the whole 25km next to her and I was happy to see her crossing the finish line and, unlike most of the competitors in the "bottom" group, we did it without cheating ones!

You can see from the online map  how crazy the course was. But thanks to our reduced speed, I managed to get quite a lot of cool pictures along the way:
