My experience at the event:

48 hours after running the 5 Mulini Summer Night, Beppe managed to convinced to take part in another race, this time in the morning.

The race was an interesting 12km in Cesate, a little town not too far from Canegrate. Part of the flat route was on the road (start and finish) but mostly it was between corn fields, where there was no way to find any sort of help from the missing shade. Under an incredibly hot sun (heatwaves in Italy are quite something), we started slow and picked up once we hit the fields. Running in such a humid enviroment was quite taxing for me (I'm so used to the dry and hot weather of Johannesburg...), but we managed to finish with a decent pace (5.17 per km) and get our free milk as a reward...
