My experience at the event:
And so it happened. After years of running, I got beaten by my brother in law. He got obsessed with running in the past 2-3 years, but he stepped up in the past months, trying way more than I ever did, and losing a lot of kg. And, on such a challenging race like the Tough One, it was all that counted.Sure, for me November was a very packed period, and I didn't even do so bad, finished just below the 6 mins/km, but Andy managed to smash his personal record by more than an hour, finished under the sweer 3 hours limit. I was glad to have finished and, for the 5th time in the row, to get my duathlon medal for completing both 94.7 and the Tough One!
