My experience at the event:

In truth I ended up runnig the whole 10km because I missed the 5km split. Due to the terrible traffic, Jill, David and I arrived when the race already started. They left straight away to run in the 10km, while my initial goal was to simply run 5km since I was playing football in the afternoon.

I left 5 minutes behind them, but I managed to reach them around the 4th km, and it was then that I discovered that I missed the turn for the simple 5km race. So I decided to keep my pace until the 5th km, and then simply stroll in the other 5km back. Unfortunately it was a bit cold and very rainy, and we finished just above the hour.

The track was quite easy to run, two big hills and that was it. But it was great to finish a race after almost 2 months dedicated solely to football! Back to sports
