Running in the early morning in Pretoria before a session few hours later at football practice is always tricky. You want to push, because you feel good, but you don't want to get too tired because, after all, you will do more runs and sprints some time later.
Luckily the course for the Akasia 3 in 1 Wonderpark race was quite easy (http://runkeeper.com/user/olafek/activity/23940667) and thanks to a great organization (they were running a 21km and a 42km as well, hence the 3-in-1 tag) everything went smooth.
Was time was decent but not great, I still managed to keep it under 50 minutes (which is my minimum to make me happy these days) knowing that only 2 hours later I would have to increase the pace up at football...
