My experience at the event:

Final race of the season and finally a decent swim in the tricky Germiston lake. After some failed attempts in the past (due to weather, kicks in the face, missed buoys) I had a very good swim (by my poor standards) followed by a good cycle and good run. I finished 160th so in the middle of the group, which for me was a great results.



Curtis did the race with me, but he opted for the duathlon instead of the triathlon, and he performed well, considered his lack of training (like me).

After the race it was finally time to celebrate a long year, and we did celebrate in style, at the new Hooters in Ruimig! Back to sports
